"The Sequence is Yours" was an amazing experience!  Our very own Art Teacher, Mrs. Taylor, who is part of theTeacher Advisory Group, worked along side a few 5th grade students to create an art piece that is currently on display at the Contemporary Art Museum Houston . Their work is very thought- provoking and impressive when you realize the students are only 10-11 years old. We are so proud of our students and so thankful for Mrs. Taylor for allowing our students to be so creative.

End of Year MAP Dates

Hello! If you are interested in attending the opening for The Sequence is Yours Art Show in collaboration with the Contemporary Arts museum of Houston please follow the LINK to RSVP, scroll down the page to access.

Mrs. Herbst's 5th Grade Class and I collaborated on an art piece titled The Attachments that will be part of this show with several other schools and students across Houston. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

The show will be on display from May 9th - May 25th at ARTECHOUSE Houston. Following this exhibition, the artwork will be moved to Mid Main Gallery for July and August.

Our amazing 5th grade teachers are helping their future STAAR conquerors master the art of editing! From spotting run-on sentences to perfecting punctuation, our space cadets are editing their way to the top! These teachers are truly out of this world!

Ms. Tiller's 4th graders are creating a Summary Salad, where they have to determine which parts of a story to include in a summary and which information is just details.
