This is a Great Week to celebrate our Fine Arts Teachers! Mrs. Taylor , our Art Teacher, has molded some real artists in our school! We are always amazed at the work she is able to get our students to create! Our fabulous Music Teachers, Mr. Rivera and Ms. Monville, have really been directing the sweet sounds that we hear coming from within their classrooms. We love our Fine Arts Teachers and Appreciate them so much! You All Create a Happy Environment for our students!

It's time for our Storybook Character Parade! It will be on Friday September 25th beginning at 1:45 pm. The Klein High Band will be leading kindergarten-5th grade students in a school wide parade outside around the playground. Patriots are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character. Please remember to bring the physical book to carry in our parade. The parade is at the end of the day, so be sure the costume is something that can be worn during class without disruption or it can quickly be put on at 1:30 p.m.

If it is raining or we are under a heat advisory we will move the parade indoors. Because of safety reasons, parents will not be allowed indoors if the parade is inside. We will send a message in advance of our 1:45 pm start time.
If the weather cooperates, Parents are invited to watch with Pre-K along the sidewalk outside of the school and along the fence line. It is sure to be an amazing parade as we watch students bring their storybook character to life.

To ensure the safety for all of our Patriots, students will not be dismissed from school early. All students will follow their normal dismissal routine. Thank you for your support and cooperation as we work together to keep all of our students safe.

Absence notifications. Unexcused absences are just that, unexcused. PLEASE send a note or upload one in Skyward when your child is absent within 5 school days. Calls, texts, Dojo messages, email can't be accepted. ("A parent may hand write a note or report the absence through the parent’s Skyward Family Access account.") A doctor's note is good too!

We don't need elaborate details, just state your child's (children's) name and date they were absent, and brief description. "Brian Johnson was absent 9/9/26 because he didn't feel well/we were out of town/we had car trouble.)

This saves us and you from potential truancy charges that YOU acknowledged when you enrolled/updated. The attached image is directly from the enrollemnt/annual update screen.

We need our students here every day. If they aren't, please let us know to avoid potential issues.
