Please RSVP for tomorrow's Go Texan Day before 1pm today. At 1pm, our front office staff will be preparing and printing badges.
Any visitors without a preprinted badge will have to wait in line in the front office. Please note there could be a line due to the day's back to back event. We suggest they come early to allow time to check in without an RSVP.

Dear Mittelstadt Elementary Parents and Guardians,
To help improve traffic flow and student safety during MORNING ARRIVAL, please note that starting tomorrow, Friday, 2/26/26, there will be NO LEFT TURNS out of the school parking lot in the morning. Heavy traffic backups have been occurring, and this change will help keep vehicles moving safely and efficiently.
We would also like to remind all families of the following arrival procedures:
• Parents must remain in their vehicles during morning drop-off.
• Please pull forward as far as possible when in the arrival line. Stopping early to let your child out (such as behind the flagpole) is not as safe, as there are no teachers present to help keep students on the sidewalk, and it also slows traffic for everyone. Please remain in your car and continue moving forward.
• The end of the arrival line is located at the end of the metal covering, where you will often see a teacher directing traffic with a red flashing light.
• If your child is EC (Early Childhood), please indicate this by turning on your emergency flashers so staff can assist appropriately.
Your cooperation helps keep our students safe and ensures a smoother arrival process for everyone. Thank you for your continued support.

Our Bookfair is still open. The last day to shop will be this Friday , February 27th. Parents are invited to come watch their children dance at the Go Texan Day event and then come shop the Bookfair. If you are not able to make it in person to the bookfair you can shop online. Check out our teachers wishlists! If you would like students to shop the easiest thing is to purchase a gift card online. We are excited to invite parents, guardians, and community professionals to participate in our upcoming Mittelstadt Elementary Career Day on Wednesday, May 20!
Career Day is a special opportunity for our students to explore a wide variety of careers and begin imagining their own futures. By hearing real stories from people in our school community, students gain inspiration, confidence, and a broader understanding of the many paths available to them.

📍 Location: Mittelstadt Elementary School, 7525 Kleingreen Lane, Klein, TX 77379
We welcome volunteers from all career fields, including (but not limited to): education, healthcare, business, trades, arts, technology, public service, entrepreneurship, military, and more. All careers and life paths are valued and appreciated. We are especially committed to ensuring our students see a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, identities, abilities, and lived experiences represented. Research shows that when children see professionals who reflect their own communities and those whose paths may differ from their own, they expand their sense of what is possible. We encourage participation from individuals of diverse racial, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, first-generation college graduates, skilled trades professionals, entrepreneurs, veterans, and those who have taken nontraditional career paths. Every story matters, and representation creates access.
What participation looks like:
Volunteers will speak to small groups of students
Presentations are approximately (15–20 minutes)
You may share what you do, how you got there, what a typical day looks like, and why your work matters to you
Visuals, props, uniforms, or hands-on items are welcome but not required
