Walk and Bike to School Day
Biking and walking to school are fantastic ways to instill healthy, fun habits in your child. It is a great excuse to gather with your neighbors and avoid sitting in the carpool line before school to finish up our Bike/Walk Safety Unit in Health!
At 7:30, meet or deliver your child to the staging area, Kleinwood Church of Christ, 16651 Kleinwood Dr. Children will walk or bike in groups, supervised by volunteers, the Mittelstadt PE coaches, and the Klein ISD Police Department.
Upon arriving at the school, students will be met by some of the Klein HS band members, and volunteers to sign an “I walked or biked to school today” poster, receive treats and prizes, and help students with locking up bikes on the bike rack. (*Please bring a lock if you ride a bike!)
